Border Fence

The U.S. is under debate for a new border policy calling for a border fence encompassing the entire U.S. and Mexico border line. Is this a good policy or a bad policy to make use of? There are many sides to this debate with many positions and stances for and against this policy. Controversy on if it will really stop illegal immigration, if it will just destroy more human life, the cost-benefit ratio, and the economic stability are a few of the controversial topics under debate with the formation of a border fence. However not only are there many different stances, but there are many different angles people are approaching these that is making it more difficult to debate the topic. For example, many Mexican workers are against it because of family and traveling purposes, many Americans a for it because illegals for "stealing" the jobs they don't want, and then there are ranchers who oppose the fence and opposed to illegal immigration. The outcome for the placement of an entire border fence will not only affect many immigrants lives, but it will also affect many lives in the U.S. as well. On both sides of the fence the economy will falter in places and fail because of the cost and effect the fence will have on it. Through the cost of the fence the money will undoubtfully come from growing taxes to help pay for it; therefore, this will affect many more Americans than originally thought. The debate on a border fence is highly controversial and places great strain on any and everyone involved. The results, fence or not, will affect everyone on both sides of the fence.
