Paper 3.1

I am not completely sure on what my proposal will be, but I am against the border fence completely. I believe that if the fence is only built in sections then it will only cause those sections without a fence to become the high traffic area for crossing instead of the original high traffic areas. For example, San Diego was a major area for illegal trafficking but now it is not. Well since the fence is segmented people are being forced into other areas such as the Devil's Highway. People are going to cross, border fence or not, but forcing them into different areas, usually more dangerous, does nothing except raise the death rate of humans. I am going to be using a proposal argument to persuade my audience that a border fence is not the way to stem illegal immigration. My audience will be Americans in border states because this border fence is affecting us more so than any other states in America.

Again I have not come up with an original idea yet but I am working on it and when I figure it out I will post it for some feedback.
